CAROLINE BURNS - INTERN
Caroline received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia. Her studies focused on Human Development and Family Science, which created a passion for supporting others at various life stages. She began a career in non-profit work at Make-A-Wish Georgia and felt inspired to pursue a degree in family therapy after her time engaging with families in this role. She is now in the process of earning her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University.
Caroline utilizes a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy as she aims to create a space where every individual feels understood. She also values a strong therapeutic alliance that fosters a trusting and caring relationship with her clients. Caroline’s areas of focus include working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families experiencing life transitions. Additionally, she is trained in PREPARE-Enrich in an effort to better support couples at all stages of their partnership.
Caroline lives in the Atlanta area and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves exploring new restaurants, evening walks, and listening to her favorite podcasts.
Caroline is under the supervision of Jennifer Wilmoth, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She is a student member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
