KIM SCHMIDT - AMFT
Kim is an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Psychology and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University.
Kim uses integrated theoretical approaches including; Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative therapy to create a healing environment and help work toward your most desired goals. Kim is also trained in PREPARE-Enrich to help couples develop stronger relationships in engagement and marriage. She currently works with couples, teens, divorce, blended families, relationship issues, and life transitions.
Kim lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and miniature schnauzer. She enjoys spending time with her adult children, traveling with family, long walks, and live music. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
