LACADIA JONES - AMFT
Lacadia received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Georgia in Psychology. She went on to complete her Master of Family Therapy degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and her Master of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. She enjoyed teaching elementary school students for many years. Through her experience of teaching she was inspired to continue her career in family therapy to be of service to individuals and families in the process of healing and growth.
Lacadia uses integrated theoretical approaches including Narrative therapy, play therapy techniques, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to create a safe space for you to create change and become a preferred version of yourself or family. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, families, parenting and life transitions.
Lacadia lives in the Atlanta area with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being in nature, and creating art in various forms; while her favorite part of life is new experiences. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
Lacadia is under the supervision of Jennifer Wilmoth, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
